Beside the Tone

Apples, bicycle rickshaw rides, seeds for bees and much more.

Sat 13th Oct
10.30am to 3.00pm

Try fresh apple juice outside the Brewhouse, pressed by Transition Taunton.

Take a bicycle rickshaw down to Childrens’ Wood, just beyond Firepool Lock, to see where the apples were picked.

Come and draw wildlife and other creatures with artist and graphic novelist Joff Winterhart.

And learn about bees and how important they ate to us, and pick up some bee friendly wildflower seeds.

All free!

Activities run for Somerset Wildlife Trust ‘Routes to the River Tone’ project with collaboration from Taunton Transition.
